In America we work hard and pay into Social Security throughout our lives thinking that we will have endless money once we hit retirement age but that couldn’t be further from the truth.
The truth is, if you plan to live off of Social Security alone, you will be living in poverty during your ‘Golden Years’. And nobody wants that.
Social Security, Pensions, 401(k)’s, Annuities, and a multitude of other options can make everything really confusing. That is where I come in. I like to take the complicated and make it simple and I hope this blog will help explain all the different choices that are available to retirees.
One thing that you must remember no matter what your age is, your retirement is far too important to leave to chance. If you are planning on living on Social Security alone, the chances of retiring broke are almost guaranteed.
